Next stop Swindon, Wiltshire for the Kwai Yu Workshops 'The art of getting back on your feet'

"Fully thought provoking" - "My confidence has been rejuvenated" - "Outstanding"

Whilst Kwai is no stranger to the Boardrooms of Britain, he is equally at home engaging with people at the other end of the corporate spectrum.  As one client has said "The narrow definition of training does not even begin to describe the impact he makes to individuals with his approach.  Most training comes and goes and is a tick in the box affair.  Kwai transcends that approach and gets results that are long lasting."  Normally he charges up to £500 per person for a day's workshop. When Kwai arrived in England in 1970, he didn't speak a word of English - today he's a hot property!

When Kwai heard what had happened to Woolies he was keen to help, offering to run workshops for colleagues totally free of charge. The first session took place at a Golf Club in South Manchester at the beginning of March. Among the audience were four respected Woolies Managers. They suspected it would be a waste of time, as their Woolworths experience taught them never to expect something for nothing, but they decided to give it a go anyway. Here's what they had to say:

Simon Sharp

From: Simon Sharp
Role: Store Manager, WW 929 Chorlton Cum Hardy

"The course opened up a higher level of thought processes, which I had not experienced before, offering me several journey paths to new employment. For example I didn't know LinkedIn was there. Your CV review is outstanding! Thank you very much."

Happier times

From: Mark Hardy
Role: Store Manager, WW 1044 Bramhall

"I found the 'Overcoming Redundancy Workshop' inspirational and feel my confidence has been rejuvenated. I particularly found the C. V. review section informative and rewarding. It has also restored my faith that there are people willing to help. Thanks."

Kevin Alexander

From: Kevin Alexander
Role: Store Manager, WW 48 Stockport (the first to make £1m profit)

"Having been invited to attend your class, I went along with an open mind, but with the usual thought of '...if the offer seems too good to be true - it is!...'

I must tell you, I left your class refreshed in the belief that there are still some good guys out there looking to help!

I found your course fully thought provoking, and I am now reviewing how I address my search for a new employer.

Thanks and good luck."

We'd like to say a big thank you to Kwai for giving his time and energy to helping Woolies people with such passion and commitmen. Thanks!
